Steve DeMartino
Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer
Steve DeMartino brings more than 35 years of experience in corporate finance and operations to Ivory Wealth Management, where he leads the firm’s financial reporting, operational efficiency, advisor economics, and its continued growth and succession planning initiatives.
Steve began his career as an accountant at Price Waterhouse and later joined Copart, Inc. (Nasdaq: CPRT) as Controller, overseeing accounting and financial reporting. In 1996, he joined TransAct Technologies Incorporated (Nasdaq: TACT), a Connecticut-based technology manufacturer, where he advanced over the next three decades from Corporate Controller to President and Chief Financial Officer.
Following his retirement from TransAct, Steve joined Ivory Wealth Management in October 2026 as the firm’s first Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. He is building an operational foundation as disciplined and durable as the standard of care Ivory brings to its clients.
Steve earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Information Technology from the University of Connecticut School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he graduated cum laude, was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and played varsity baseball.
A lifelong Connecticut resident, Steve lives in Durham with his wife, Kristen, and their two children, Nick and Amalia.
Steve is a Certified Public Accountant.
